Welcome to Courtney Hall

Courtney Hall is ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ’s largest residence hall, home to over 460 students first year students. Located on the west side of campus, it offers double, triple, and quad rooms, plus a limited number of premium singles. Amenities include first-floor laundry and vending machines on every level. With its distinctive pitched roof, Courtney Hall is a recognizable and welcoming part of the campus community.

Opened in 1989, the hall honors Samuel Courtney, a graduate from the Class of 1882 who earned a medical degree from Harvard and became a leader in expanding educational opportunities.

Courtney is such a big dorm with students from all class years. Meeting new people is no problem here. The kitchen is brand new, and the common room is huge, featuring a TV, ping pong table, piano, and more!

Courtney Hall offers double, triple, and quad rooms, along with a limited number of premium singles in a variety of layouts. Each room comes furnished with loft-able beds providing up to 42 inches of storage space underneath, as well as a desk, chair, dresser, and closet.

Courtney Hall features welcoming common spaces that encourage both socializing and studying. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, while the main lounge offers a cozy atmosphere with a working fireplace. On the fifth floor, students can enjoy a quiet study lounge with its distinctive cupola, or tower, overlooking campus.
